You may be surprised for seeing the air intake at front on the photo above and it is what you guessed: The Ferrari 550 is a top performance Ferrari, yet it has the engine at the front.
You should not worry about that, though, because the 550 is one of the best handling Ferraris ever. Which simply means that the 550 is a car with really amazing handling...Another important thing about the 550 is that it is fabulously easy to drive - given its power and size.
Power comes from a reworked version of the 456's V12 engine that produces 480hp that is more than enough to propel the car 60mph from standstill in 4.7 seconds and give it a top speed of almost 200mph!
